The prevalence of chronic pain, which is described as “ most’ days of the week is over 20% of adults in the US. Over my many years of practice, I have seen many patients wait months and years to get their chronic pain treated. Sometimes people wait so long, surgery is suggested as an option. Pain is our bodies way of letting us know that something is out of balance. It often falls under the category of muscle imbalance, muscle weakness, skeletal and postural alignment issues as well as chronic overuse. These are all issues that can be treated and generally treated very easily within the first few months of the onset of pain.
