All treatment sessions are one-on-one with a dual licensed, expert Manual Physical Therapist / Acupuncturist, and are scheduled for either 30, 60 or 90 minutes. There are many treatment options to suite individual needs based on diagnosis and budget. We are a fee-for-service clinic that is not in-network with any insurances. Upon request, receipts can be provided that include the necessary codes to send self-claims to your insurance company.

Insurance companies can strongly influence the treatment that patients receive at “in-network” clinics, and we refuse to allow that to be the case at Sacred Pathways. Our special approach to care that integrates manual physical therapy with acupuncture simultaneously is not a billable combination for insurance companies. Even though it is extremely effective and gets results quickly, most insurances do not allow both acupuncture and PT to be billed on the same day, much less in the same session.
Case example one: A recent patient came in with severe heel pain that was making him unable to exercise and it was becoming difficult to walk even moderate distances for activities of daily living. He had been treated in a Traditional PT clinic for a 4 month period with treatment sessions 2 – 3 x per week for the first 2 months and down to 1-2 x per week for the 2nd, two month period. He had invested over $2000 with meeting his deductible and co pay amounts. I performed an evaluation and found the root of the problem and estimated 3 treatment sessions for his full plan of care. In three treatment sessions we were able to resolve his pain to a maximum of 1/10 and he was back to his normal, high level exercise routine. This was 1/3 of the cost and took 10 days, versus 4 months.
Case example two: A patient came to me for fertility treatments as she and her husband had been trying for over 6 years. They had tried IVF and several other conventional interventions without success and for a considerable financial investment. We identified several issues that had not been addressed with any of her previous treatments. Within 6 weeks of working with me 1-2 times per week, she was pregnant and gave birth to a healthy baby girl 9 months later. The out of pocket cost for our work together was minimal compared to their prior investment and with results in a short period of time.

Sometimes Manual therapy and Acupuncture is recommended together and sometimes Acupuncture only or needle free treatment options are best.
